Sign of Iphone 3G in Malaysia Apple Store

Is this a sign of Iphone3G in Malaysia, Malaysia Apple Store now have a link label 'Shop Iphone', what could that mean? After clicking inside, the link is not complete or redirecting to Asia general site at this moment

Is long awaited going to be landed in Malaysia soon? Currently Apple Iphone is not on the list of upcoming country, could that be a next year Q1 release?

Many questions has yet being answered, such as which telco carried the phone? un-lock or lock version? pricing structure? contract, prepaid or outright purchase is allowed?..etc

*****Updated: "Shop Iphone" link has been taken down from the Malaysia Apple Store site*****

N95 classic firmware 30.0.15

Hooray ,another firmware upgrade for Nokia n95.  Auto-rotation has been a default feature in this latest firmware. Well, the rotation is not that smooth though. Nokia Maps 2.0 built in. Noticable user interface improvement, but yet to try it. Prefer Garmin XT with Malsingmaps at the moment.

Full N-Gage client also install by default, i'm not a fan of N-Gage games. Have my PSP for that. Probably it is a good one for those N-Gage fans.

Others feature enchancement include Share online 3.0 easy upload to Vox, Flickr and Ovi) and Nokia Search (now includes Google as an option).

To upgrade to this version, visit Nokia website to download Nokia Software Updater and follow the on screen instruction.

** Beware, "ALL Data will be erase" backup your phone data before attempting to upgrade the firmware.**

N95 LCD Screen Crack

My, Nokia n95 screen crack. Sent to the Nokia Care Centre which is located at Plaza Berjaya, Kuala Lumpur yesterday morning. Upon showing my phone to the customer service, she check the condition of the phone and told me the LCD Screen Crack does not cover under warranty.

Despite explaining that the screen crack is not due to negligence (it realized it was crack when I pull the phone out from my trouser to make phone call), it still does not cover under warranty.

Have to wait for them to get me a quote in 2 days time. Need to fork out additional expenses to get it fix now.

[30/7/2008] Got my phone back. That make a RM164 (for the LCD Screen)damage to my wallet not inclusive of transportation fees(parking, milleage).
Labour charge was excluded as my phone is still under warranty period.

iPhone 3G hits US market today - Maxis Malaysia offer at competitve price below RM1000?

KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 ─ Apple today begins selling the iPhone 3G to replace earlier and slower models.
Touted as twice the speed, half the price, the 3G model has the same 8GB capacity as the EDGE iPhone but comes with new features such as enterprise applications and GPS.
The phone was Apple's entry into the crowded and competitive mobile phone sector dominated by Finnish giant Nokia and several Korean and Taiwanese makers.
But the iPhone integrated Apple's successful and iconic Ipod MP3 player with touch screen features and the company's famed industrial design to gain market share and appeal to a younger set.
The iPhone 3G will be available in a few Asian nations soon, most of whom have already cracked earlier sets which were tied to US provider AT&T.
Its understood that Maxis will offer the iPhone 3G in Malaysia at a competitive price below RM1,000.
